Opponent's Non-Campaign

The non-campaign of Basler for U.S. Representative is an obvious distraction in the race for the Top 2, for what motive we have no idea since there is no campaign as far as Reliability can ascertain, and put on the ballot in the last hours of the last day of candidate filing.  Alternatively, Mark Greene has been running for the 9th District office for almost two years (since August of 2012), has shaken hundreds of hands, and spoken to thousands of voters from all over the 9th Congressional District.  Most Republicans in the New 9th Congressional District (overwhelmingly a Democratic district) realize that any chance of defeating Adam Smith rests with Greene's triangular political approach, in other words getting to the right and left of Smith on the various issues. and thereby voting "Citizens" in 2014.

Mark Greene probably won the G.O.P. primary in the Old 9th District in 2004 [http://partyofcommons.blogspot.com/2013/02/major-election-irregularities-graph_26.html], and he's counting on Republicans and others to put him in the Top 2 through this year's August primary.

Our Washington State Lieutenant Governor Candidate Blog

There will be a special place to write about the Lieutenant Governor 2016 election, which I'm in, and specifically Washington state issues and matters, generally, even when the election is over.  All of the recent Lieutenant Governor posts on FW Politics  will be carried over to the new blog, Washingtonian.   I am proud to be a natural-born American and a Washingtonian, and I will need your vote to stand up for the Common Man in our state and our nation.   [Originally posted on Washingtonian on April 29, 2016; revised on May 26, 2016.]

Republicans Turning to Citizens Party In Droves

The Republican Party in the 9th District of Washington has been pleasantly surprised by the success of my coalition campaign to attract all parties and my common sense platform to fix the economy, turn America inward from the foreign wilderness and to keep a traditional outlook in political affairs.  They also like the fact that if I became a congressman, that I would not be a puppet of Wall Street, but a representative of Main Street.  They know that I am a true friend of their party, and they want somebody in the General Election that has a real chance of winning, not another Postma or Muri that can only attract intra-party votes and has no real chance of succeeding in the radically redrawn New 9th District, especially with Basler, as the Seattle Times put it, hardly waging a campaign.   -- Mark Greene, candidate for Congress, Congressional District 9, Citizens Party Note:  I just found out that a prominent Ron Paul website has been playing up Ad...
